Hardwax Oil Swift Colourless

Hardwax Oil Swift is a low-odor, quick-drying roller-on product for oiling wood floors. It's incredibly easy to apply, as it doesn't need to be rubbed into the wood. Hardwax Oil Swift combines natural oil and wax in a single product, providing an extremely durable surface that's highly resistant to liquids and stains. It gives the floor a neutral appearance and a practical, non-slip surface that's easy to maintain. The product is suitable for treating untreated, new, or recently sanded wood surfaces, or as a topcoat over WOCA Master Color Oil.

For untreated or freshly sanded wooden surfaces or as a finish over WOCA Master Colour Oil.

Preparation

It is important that the product, room, and floor are at a temperature between 15°C and 30°C, and that the humidity is approximately 50%. The wood humidity should not exceed 12%. Ensure the room is well ventilated to allow for optimal evaporation and drying times. Always remember to test the product on a less visible area to ensure the wood is compatible with the oil. The floor must be free of dirt, grease, wax, and sanding residue. Previously treated floors should be sanded flush with a 120-150 grit sandpaper. Then, vacuum thoroughly and wash the floor if necessary using a well-wrung cloth soaked in water. Always remember to test the product on a less visible area to ensure the surface is compatible with the product.

Grain 120-150.

Treatment

Stir Swift Wax Oil thoroughly before and during use. Mix containers with different batch numbers to avoid color differences. Apply a thin layer of oil using a short-haired paint roller (3-4 mm) or similar, along the grain of the wood. Spread the oil evenly. Let the floor dry for 4-5 hours. Repeat the treatment within 12 hours if another coat of oil is needed. In this case, we recommend sanding with 150-grit paper or a brown pad to improve adhesion between coats.

Note

If you want to apply Hardwax Oil Swift as a colored oxidizing oil coating, we recommend applying the colored oil, letting it dry overnight, performing an intermediate sanding with a brown pad, and applying Hardwax Oil to ensure adhesion between coats.

Drying time

Drying time: 4-5 hours depending on temperature, humidity and amount applied.

Full cure: 7 days. Depending on temperature, humidity, and amount applied. Low temperatures and/or high humidity may increase drying times.

Storage : 15-25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose to heat (e.g., sunlight). Store away from frost.

VOC : This product contains a maximum of 500 g VOC/L. The permitted value is 500 g VOC/L (cat.A/i).
