Invisible Oil

Invisible Oil is a single-component, low-odor, water-based floor oil made with the highest-quality ingredients. It offers extremely high protection and gives wood a matte, untreated look when used in combination with WOCA Invisible Oil Primer. The oil is particularly suitable for machine polishing light-colored wood species, both untreated and freshly sanded. Invisible Oil is the second step in a high-quality, water-based oiling system and should therefore be used in combination with WOCA Invisible Oil Primer.

Areas of application

For oiling wooden surfaces prepared with Invisible Oil Primer. The Invisible system was developed for use on light-colored woods that require a good oiling quality and a freshly sanded, untreated appearance. The range provides floors with a comfortable, soft-touch surface. The floor will have a smooth, water-resistant surface that's easy to clean and maintain.

Preparation

It's important that both the wood and the paint are at least 15°C (preferably around 20°C) and that the humidity is around 50%. Make sure the room is well ventilated to allow for optimal evaporation and drying times. Prepare the wood with Invisible Oil Primer and then sand with a burgundy sanding disc or a paint sanding disc. Then, carefully vacuum the surface. Always remember to test on a less visible area to verify the product's compatibility.

Treatment

Shake the oil container well both before and during use. Mix containers of different batch numbers to avoid color differences. Apply an even coat of Invisible Oil using a short-haired paint roller. Work on small areas no larger than 20 m2 at a time. Allow the oil to penetrate for up to 5 minutes. Rub the oil into the wood until the floor looks saturated. Use a polishing machine with a beige or burgundy pad. Change the polishing pad regularly to avoid oil buildup. Remove excess oil with lint-free cotton cloths or pads applied to the polishing machine until the surface no longer looks wet. The surface can be used carefully the next day and is fully cured after 7 days under normal indoor conditions.

Note

After 24 hours, we recommend treating the surface with Invisible Oil Care to improve the floor's resistance to stains and wear. For optimal cleaning, we recommend WOCA Natural Soap Extra White, which cares for and maintains the surface. Do not expose the floor to water or other liquids for the first 7 days while the oil hardens.

Storage : 10-25°C. Store with care. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose to heat (e.g., sunlight). Store away from frost.

VOC : This product contains a maximum of 95 g VOC/L. The permitted value is 500 g VOC/L (cat.A/i).
