Maintenance Oil

Maintenance Oil can be used to increase the brightness and for the maintenance of all oil-treated (oxidative) wooden surfaces and is particularly suitable for the ordinary maintenance of oil-treated wooden floors.

Areas of application

For the care and maintenance of all wooden surfaces treated with oxidative oil, especially floors.

Preparation

Keep the product, room, and floor at a temperature between 15-35°C. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Clean the floor with WOCA Intensive Wood Cleaner. Let the floor dry for at least 8 hours. The floor must be completely dry. Always remember to test on a less visible area to verify the wood's compatibility with the product.

Treatment

Shake the container thoroughly. Apply approximately 100 ml of oil per 4 m2 using a buffer, short-haired paint roller, or cotton cloth, or use a polisher for larger surfaces. It is important that the Maintenance Oil is absorbed into the wood, polishing it. Continue polishing until the wood appears saturated and the surface is even. Dry the floor with clean, dry cotton cloths before proceeding with the next step of floor finishing. The floor should not appear damp, and there should be no excess oil on the surface after polishing. Proceed in stages until the floor is completely finished.

Note

Do not clean the floor or expose it to water during the first 3 days while the oil is hardening.

Drying time

Drying time with machine polishing: 4 hours at 20°C

Drying time with hand polishing: 24-48 hours at 20°C

Full hardening: 48 hours at 20°C.

Composition : vegetable oil components, isoparaffin, pigments.

Density : 0.80-0.90

Dry matter content : approximately 50%

Duration : 36M

Application temperature : 15-25°C

Yield : 30-40 m^2/L

Colors : natural, white.

Cleaning tools : WOCA Solvent or turpentine.

Storage : 10-25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose to heat (e.g., sunlight). Store away from frost in winter and in a cool place in summer.

VOC : The product contains a maximum of 490 g VOC/L. The limit value is 700 g VOC/L (cat. A/f (OB)).
